vpn adapter subnet conflict

openvpn.log from the vpn-server has
the following entry:

WARNING: potential TUN/TAP adapter subnet conflict between local LAN [192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0] and remote VPN [192.168.1.40/255.255.255.255]

this is the openvpn.conf:

dev tun
ifconfig 192.168.1.40 10.8.0.1
secret /etc/openvpn/static.key
push "route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0"
port 10000
keepalive 10 120
comp-lzo

and this says route -n

Kernel-IP-Routentabelle
Ziel                Router             Genmask               Flags Metric Ref    Use Iface

Both, client and server seems to work.
Maybe problem is in routing.
Try to fix in near future.
